Brickwall is a construction-materials wholesaler that runs on Rowan (Brickwall ERP) for its entire operation, including invoicing with Verifactu live. The warehouse module of that ERP, hardened by months of real use, is the foundation Rowan WMS was built on.
The problem
A B2B wholesaler receives pallets from suppliers, locates them in a warehouse with real aisles and racks, picks orders for customers constantly, and needs to know its stock per SKU at all times without depending on someone having scanned every last pallet. A generic ERP doesn't model picking slots, replenishment thresholds or receiving discrepancies — without that, the warehouse runs on memory and loose spreadsheets.
The module has run in production for months, carrying a real wholesaler's daily operation — not a demo.
What was built
Receiving against a purchase order with flagged discrepancies, locations with capacity and a replenishment threshold, picking with automatic replenishment proposals from reserve, cycle counts without stopping the operation, and lot traceability where the material requires it — all while invoicing for real, with Verifactu live from day one it became mandatory.
