Why Rowan WMS exists
The problem
Rowan is a Galician cooperative that builds software for real problems at real businesses, not for a feature catalogue. One of those businesses is Brickwall, a construction-materials wholesaler within the same group, invoicing for real with Verifactu live.
The build
Brickwall needed a warehouse that actually worked: receiving against a purchase order, locations with capacity, picking that warns before a stock-out, lot traceability. No WMS fit without months of implementation and a consultant in the middle, so we built one inside its own ERP.
The result
Months of real use later, with the module carrying the daily operation of a real warehouse, we decided it deserved to exist as its own product, for any warehouse with the same problem. That's how Rowan WMS was born.
